Description

IC 443, also called the Jellyfish Nebula  is a SNR in Gemini. It is a relatively large object and quite dramatic! I imaged this from my backyard on clear nights and found it fun to process, but somehow I find I am not satisfied with this one, no matter what I do! I finally have  decided to post it as is! The colors are so vivid and unexpected, it is hard to get used to the wild shades of blue and violet!
I chose to keep the top left a blue tone to contrast with the jellyfish.  Stars were plenty and I reduced them significantly so they did not crowd the delicate details!
